Indonesian Embassy in Astana Promotes Indonesian Culinaries at International Day Spectrum International School

Indonesian Embassy in Astana promotes Indonesia's culinary, handicraft and culture at the International Day Charity Event organized by Spectrum International School on 29 April 2017, in Astana. The event, held at Mega Silkway Astana Shopping Center, was attended by more than 36 foreign representatives in Kazakhstan and by thousands of shopping center visitors.

Indonesia's booth served a variety of Indonesian culinary specialties such as fried rice, pastel, chicken curry, bakwan, fried banana and various traditional cakes, as well as instant coffee. In the booth, the Embassy also exhibited a typical Indonesian handicrafts, which received a positive response from visitors.

In the same occasion, the Embassy also performed Indonesian traditional music art in the form of Angklung and Balinese dance. Angklung and Balinese Dance performances that are considered unique by the public Kazakhstan were able to amaze visitors and received a lively response.
